Description
Optical patchcord (jumper cable) is a standard interconnecting optical cable, terminated on both sides with optical connectors. Patchcords are used to interconnect devices inside a rack, or to connect active elements to a fiber optic path terminating in a rack. Patchcords are usually Duplex (2x fiber, 4x connector), or in simplex version (1x fiber, 2x connector) for single-fiber WDM applications.
FIBRAIN fibre optic cable AERO-DR03 with reaction to fire class Dca is suitable for indoor and outdoor installations. The outer sheath of the fibre optic cable itself is LSOH type, is therefore low-emitting and halogen-free in the event of ignition. In addition, the sheath contains a special compound that makes the fiber optic cable UV stable. The fibre optic cable has a very high tensile resistance 300 N. Fibres used Corning (G.657.A1) have a high flexibility and thus allow to achieve excellent transmission and installation properties in confined spaces and anywhere where multiple, separate connections need to be routed.
