Description
Optical pigtail is used for termination of optical cables in optical switchboard by welding method on optical fiber. The pigtail fibre is further protected by a secondary shield with a diameter of 900µm. The 900µm secondary protection can be tight or loose (EASY-STRIP).
Optical pigtails are available in multimode and singlemode versions with different types of connectors (E2000, LC, SC, ST, FC, ...). Pigtails can be ordered with a cable length of 1m as standard, but it is not a problem to produce pigtails of any length to order.
